Description

This is a lightning round project in BVW. We implemented the whole world, including design and build the whole game system and make a 5x5 electric socket board for playing. Guests need to plug-in their fingers into the sockets during this Gentleman's Duel.

Personal Contribution

  • Prototyped and tested different the level designs.
  • Implemented the game logic, all level designs, SFX, UI, and visual feedbacks.
  • Built the 5x5 physical input device.
  • This game was selected to be presented in BVW Festival 2013.

    Do you dare to put your finger into the electric socket?

    The gameplay idea comes from our childhood curiosity: what would happen if I put my little finger inside those mysterious (electric) sockets. Then, we found out that this uncertainty (whether it would hurt me or not) perfectly matches with one of the classic games: minesweeper. Therefore, we tried to borrow the essence of minesweeper and combined with old-fashioned electric plugs' design and Steampunk elements to create this "serious" gentlemen's duel.
